The Junior Football Match Official course serves as an entry point for those seeking to officiate in football leagues organised by Member Federations.

Participants will acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to confidently manage junior matches while emphasising the importance of player development and safety. This course is ideal for individuals looking to officiate in youth football and contribute to the growth of young talent.

Participants are required to have completed both the Laws of the Game and the Junior Football Match Official online courses prior to attending the practical session. You can find out more about how to access and complete these courses on our Become a Referee webpage.

The practical session is approximately 2.5 hours in length and courses are typically run once a month from February to August.
