Course Dates 2022

Once you have completed the online course available through Football Federation Australia, you will attend the 1 day orientation course to become qualified to referee in the Nepean district competition. You must email supportadmin@nepeanfootballcom.au your completed certificate in advance of you attending the orientation course. Our 2022 course dates are below:

Level 4 new referee course dates: We strongly recommend that you attend one of the first 3 dates allowing us time to train you and have you ready for the 2022 season.

  • Saturday 5th of February
  • Saturday 19th of February
  • Saturday 5th of March
  • Saturday 19th of March

Our day commences at 9am for registration and concludes at 2.15pm. All courses are held at the 9/51 York Road South Penrith unless advised otherwise. Register your name by emailing supportadmin@nepeanfootball.com.au your level 4 online certificate. If you are yet to complete your online certificate please go to form titled ‘become a referee’ and we will communicate with you once we have received your information. Our numbers are limited due to covid and social distancing applies.

To attend our orientation day the cost is $100 and you need to register by clicking the below link and choose ‘level 4’ referees course. Once you have paid online you will then need to email supportadmin@nepeanfootball.com.au and give our team your preferred attendance date from the nominated list above. On the day you will receive a laws of the game booklet, a Fox 40 whistle and your course material.

Once you have completed our orientation day, you will then be qualified to referee football. There are 2 more financial steps to becoming a referee.

  1. You must officially register with the Nepean Referees group for $85 as a first year referee which covers your insurance. Your instructor will show you this on the day of your orientation day.
  2. You will need to purchase your uniform kit at a cost of approximately $200 all inclusive. (This cost should only be incurred once you have completed the orientation course). Your instructor will discuss and display our uniform on the day of your orientation course.
